Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Today, our Best Uganda Safaris lead us to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest and home to 451 bird species and 76 mammal species. Have some stopover in Masindi for lunch and also at the top of the waterfalls. There is nothing more interesting than seeing water force itself through a small slit in a rock as the Nile makes its way through an 8-meter crevice and drops nearly 45 meters below as it continues flowing its course through the national park. The river actually divides the park for close to 115 kilometers while making its way from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea, a journey that makes it the longest river in the whole world. Because of the force of the water, there will be oozing of it, and actually, the ground will seem as though it is shaking. Amazing rainbows are formed, looking so wonderful. Thereafter, continue to your lodge, check in, have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Day 2: Murchison Game Drive and Nile Cruise
Have breakfast in the morning and then set out for a game drive. The tour guide will lead you to the best places to easily see the animals. You will then enjoy Uganda’s true wilderness as you take pictures that will create an unforgettable memory. Seeing animals like lions, buffalos, kobs, Jackson hartebeests, and warthogs will be an exciting experience. You will head back to the lodge for lunch and take a rest as we prepare for the Nile boat trip to the base of waterfalls

The boat ride takes 2 hours directly to the bottom of the falls while you enjoy the Victoria Nile. Animals like the hippos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks, and warthogs are easily spotted, as are birds of different kinds like African fish eagles, storks, and kingfishers. While at the bottom of the falls, you will have a great view of the wonderful Murchison waterfalls. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Kibale Forest national park
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kibale Forest; you will have a look on the beautiful scenery of this country side making it an interesting journey. Have your lunch on the way to Fort portal town and continue as you are having a great view of the Rwenzori ranges. Check in at your lodge. You could also go for Optional nature walk in Bigodi sanctuary a lonely planet in kibale good for butterflies and primate spotting including different pieces of monkeys and also different bird species. Later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Kibale Forest- Morning Chimpanzee tracking
Early morning breakfast and head to the park, where you will be briefed and later start off with Chimpanzee trekking in the forest. Kibale forest is one of the few remaining tropical forest with the biggest forest cover well-known for different primates and several crater lakes within Uganda. In the morning you will see the chimpanzees in their natural environment. These chimps are interesting, very close encounter with them will reward you with a memorable experience on your trip. After lunch you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Have a dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game drive & Launch cruise – Queen Elizabeth
Enjoy your breakfast and set out for a game drive through the Kasenyi track and other tracks where you will have a view to different wildlife species like lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks, and if lucky leopards together with amazing bird species. Queen Elizabeth national park is Uganda’s popular destination with a diverse Eco-system which includes Savannah, wetlands, forest and also habitat to beautiful game, primates and over 600 bird species. In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on the kazinga channel one of the most interesting things to do in Queen Elizabeth national park. Take pleasure to see animals like hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, warthogs among others. After experiencing the beauty of the wild, we will drive you back to the lodge for a night rest and dinner.

Day 6: Nature walk and chimpanzee tracking
Early morning breakfast and after head for a guided forest walk in Maramagambo forest with the hope to see variety of bird species, cats and snakes (python). The walk will continue to the kyambura gorge, an isolated land in the park and most amazing holding captivity of several primates especially chimpanzees. Walk back to the lodge have lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive through the park.

Day 7: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast transfer Bwindi via the Ishasha sector as you will have a chance to observe tree-climbing lions in the wild. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a bio diverse mountainous area in the south western part of Uganda. It was gazette in 1942 as a forest reserve and declared Bwindi impenetrable national park in 1992 it was recognized as a world heritage site in 1994.in the local language “Bwindi means impenetrable, it is a home to many of the world’s famous mountain gorillas that Feed on roots, leaves, and fruits from the parks many trees and fern species. The forest is one of the oldest and virgin forests, it is the only park in the whole world that Mountain Gorillas Co-exist with the wild chimpanzees. Bwindi National Park is home to over 346 bird species and covers an area of 331sq km. Have lunch on the way and continue with the journey enjoying the beautiful scenery with an overall green plantation. of the area. On reaching the park check in at lodge of preference. Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After breakfast, head to the park head office with your guide to get a brief meeting about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. After heading for gorilla trekking through the thick rain forest, trekking can take 2 hours or up to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families. Only 1 hour is permitted for trekkers while with the gorillas. It’s advisable to carry non-flash cameras, rain jackets, walking sticks if you are not fit enough, some lunch, and enough drinking water. Later, return to the lodge and have some rest.
In the evening, you can opt for a community walk depending on the time of your gorilla trekking, visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that has lived in the forest for many years, and enjoy traditional dances from them. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, which is approximately a 6 to 7 hours drive from Bwindi impenetrable. You will have a sight on the beautiful scenery of Kigezi region which is a combination of terraced hills, forests, banana plantations and an overall green plantation. Have lunch in Mbarara town and check in with evening Game drive or afternoon horse back ride. The park is home to over 332 bird species, a number of animals made it their home such as Zebras, impalas, warthogs, topis, waterbucks, buffaloes, and reed bucks among others.
