Cottages & Rooms
Our accommodation offers 20 self-contained chalets sleeping a maximum of 20 pax in single rooms, with a cushty lounge where you’ll read our in-house book collection. Enjoy a broad range of activities, and retire to our comfortable cottages, at the top of it all.

How to get the Kidepo National park – Adere Safari Lodge
The park is often reached by both road and air. Driving is rewarding, the utmost amount of Karamoja, like Kidepo itself, could also be a huge and unspoiled wilderness. However, road conditions are sometimes poor and a 4WD vehicle is vital.
There are four possible routes by road as listed below. Optimum driving times are given
Kampala – Karuma – Gulu – Kitgum – Kidepo = 571km (10 hours)
Kampala – Karuma – Lira – Kotido – Kaabong – Kidepo = 705km (12 hours)
Routes passing east of Lake Kyoga through Karamoja
Kampala – Mbale – Sironko – Moroto – Kotido – Kaabong – Kidepo = 740km (12 hours)
Kampala – Mbale – Soroti – Moroto – Kotido – Kabong – Kidepo = 792km (13 hours)
The most usual route passes through Gulu and Kitgum Ideally, travelers should decide to stay overnight in one among these towns or at Chobe, near Karuma in Murchison Falls Park.
Visitors should note that the road mainly in use from Kotido to Kaabong passes via Kanawat not via Losilang as indicated on most maps. Enquire at Kotido for details.
Charter flights to Kidepo could also be arranged from Kampala (Kajjansi), Kampala Aeroclub, or Entebbe with Eagle Aviation. Flights take about two hours.
Activities while in Kidepo valley National Park
Ik tribes; The tribe is one of Africa’s most remote and interesting tribes living on top of mount Murongole in the Northern Kidepo. A visit to them is one of the most authentic that one will experience in Africa, its one full day activities and the hike may take 4 hours depending on your hiking speed pace.
